Grow your SmartGuy City Business Network by 50-100 Businesses in the Next 60 Days

Here is the absolute fastest and easiest way to grow your SmartGuy City Business Network by as many as 50-100 businesses in the next 60 days. Best of all, we made this strategy so easy, you don't even need a computer for this approach - we got it handled for you!

STEP 1  - BEGIN BY CONTACTING BUSINESSES YOU KNOW OR HAVE USED.

(A) Text Approach

This is the easiest and only requires simply sending a text to businesses you know or meet utilizing a special Mobile Card, set up to promote your business network. This can be handled directly thru Rudy (505) 445-3400, who will set it up for you so you can be utilizing it within 1-2 business days for only $150 per year paid to Rudy (very reasonable). 

Once set up, open up your Mobile Card and click the "Share with Others" tab at the bottom of the Mobile Card. Then, enter the phone number of the person and send it.

There are many business owners you already know included on your contacts of your phone, perhaps an accountant, acupuncturist, car salesman, veterinarian Auto mechanic, Church, temple or other organization, favorite restaurant owners, travel agent, bakery, auto detailer, doctors, dentist, carpet cleaner, chiropractor, mortgage lender, real estate agent, real estate appraiser, contractor, painter, electrician, Florist, Coffee shop, air conditioning repair, handyman, roofer, plumber, chimney sweep, pool man, maid service, opticians, auto insurance agent, health insurance agent, life insurance agent etc.

Also, think all of the businesses you meet every day. Instead of giving them a whole presentation, simply tell them something like, "The top businesses in the city are all aligning together in a massive business referral network, can I text you some information on it? (let them see you grab your phone and be ready to send them the text fast) What is your cell number?" 

NOTE: One of the reasons I really like this approach is (1) they can view it when they have time, (2) they can see all the SmartGuy can do for them, and (3) you get their phone number, so can follow up a day or to later if they didn't sign up to answer any questions and then after they sign up, (4) call to welcome them and ask them for referrals!

(B) Phone Call Approach

Make a list of professionals you have used over the last few years. To make it easier, start by looking at your contact list on your phone or computer, checking account and/or  credit cards. Do you have an accountant? Do you have a health, car or auto insurance agent you have been using? Do you have a landscaper, pool man, electrician or contractor you have used and happy with? Perhaps a real estate agent, since they typically refer people often.

NOTE: for a complete list of available SmartGuy categories (and to get more ideas), click the small "GROUPS" link at the bottom of the SmartGuy website. Also, make sure to start by making a list of everyone's name, occupation and phone number BEFORE starting to make all your calls. This will make it easier. The fact is there are probably at least 10-15 people that you (1) already know well (2) that you have already hired in the past or currently continue to do, and (3) that you trust will do a great job. Simply call them up and say the following:

“Hi (Steve), a bunch of us who live and work in (Beverly Hills) have decided we are going to grow our businesses, despite this economy, by sticking together and forming a massive referral network. In other words, we are all going to use, recommend and refer each other to everyone we know and I want you to join and get all the groups (electrical) referrals. Can you use an ongoing supply of quality referrals? (pause)

When I called my insurance agent, he got 5 listings. Two categories in one city, and 3 in another.

STEP 2  - ONCE THEY JOIN, THE SMARTGUY TEAM WILL AUTOMATICALLY...

(1) Fill out their SmartGuy web page in detail for them, including more text and keywords to come up on search engines, using their existing website or information we can gather about what they do,

(2) Personally call them and go over it with them, making any changes they want,

Of course, all businesses must still have a Google listing with a rating of at least 4 stars. Now if they don't have a google listing, you can recommend someone do it for them.  You will find a list if SmartGuy leaders to help them in the  “Google Listings”  section of our Facebook group. If they do have a google listing, but it is not quite 4 stars, there is another section on our facebook group called “Google Ratings” where you can post their google listing and leaders might give them a 5 star review to help them rate higher.

STEP 3 - CALL YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS (WHO LIVE IN YOUR CITY NETWORK AREA)

Call all your Family members that live in the same city and tell them the following:

“Hi (Aunt May), a bunch of us who live and work in (Beverly Hills) have decided we are going to grow our businesses, despite this economy, by sticking together and forming a massive referral network. In other words we are all going to use, recommend and refer each other.

I wondered if you had any quality business professionals you have used that you feel do excellent work, like perhaps a contractor, or a health, car or auto insurance person you have been using? Or an accountant, electrician or contractor? I just need their name and number so I can recommend them to everyone in our group to use. I am sure they would appreciate more business”

Write down their names and phone numbers and then contact them (Call or text as above) and SmartGuy will follow (as above)

STEP 4 - CALL YOUR CLOSE FRIENDS (WHO LIVE IN YOUR CITY NETWORK AREA)
