Daily Scripture - Blessed Peacemakers - Matthew 5:9 - “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” - Matthew 5:9 Good morning, child of peace! Jesus honors those who bridge conflict with grace. As you awaken, recall any tension in relationships - family disagreements, workplace friction, or inner unrest - and pray, “Lord, make me a peacemaker today.” Over breakfast, list two practical steps: initiate a calm conversation, offer forgiveness, or pray for reconciliation. Write “Peacemaker” on a card and keep it in your pocket. Let this calling guide you to church, where worship and community embody the peace of Christ. During the service, notice opportunities to model peace - gentle greetings, affirming words, and prayerful intercession. After worship, act on your plan: reach out to someone you’ve avoided, send a note of apology, or simply listen without judgment. When conflict arises - within or around you - choose peacemaking over division. Today, reflect God’s heart by sowing peace and being recognized as His child.
