You Are Loved - Even on Your Worst Days

WATCH THE VIDEO

We all have days when we feel unworthy. Days when we mess up, fall short, break down. And in those moments, a lie creeps in: “I’m only lovable when I’m doing well.”

But that couldn’t be further from the truth. You are loved - even on your worst days.

Not because of what you achieve. Not because of how perfect you are. But because of who you are.

Look at Selena Gomez. She’s spoken openly about her battles with anxiety, depression, and chronic illness. There were times she stepped out of the spotlight to focus on healing. She once said, “I had to learn that I was enough, even when I wasn’t okay.” Her courage reminded millions that our low points don’t erase our worth.

Or consider Terry Crews. Known for his strength and success, he opened up about addiction, anger, and how shame nearly destroyed his life. But in his vulnerability, he found deeper love - from others, and from himself. He said, “Real love sees the whole you - even the broken parts - and stays.”

The people who truly love you don’t only show up when you shine - they stay when you crumble. And even when you feel like no one sees you, remember: God does. And His love doesn’t waver based on your mood, your mistakes, or your mess.

You are not the sum of your failures.  You are not too much, too emotional, too complicated, too anything.  You are human. And being human is enough to be loved.

Love isn’t earned - it’s received. Let that truth settle in your soul:  You are still lovable when you cry.  Still lovable when you’re lost.  Still lovable when you don’t have the answers. So on those days when you feel least deserving of love - lean into it even more. That’s when you need it most.

If this message brought comfort to your heart, share it. Someone else might be silently believing they have to “get it together” before they’re worthy of love. Remind them:

True love doesn’t leave when things get ugly. It holds on - and reminds you who you are.
