To the One Who Doesn’t Believe in Jesus (Yet)

But somehow… curious. Searching. Longing. Wondering. So let’s talk - not with judgment, not with fear, but heart to heart.

You Don’t Have to Pretend

Let’s start with this: God is not afraid of your doubts. He’s not offended by your questions. He’s not shocked by your past. And He’s not waiting for you to “clean up your life” before coming to Him. Jesus didn’t come for the perfect. He came for the broken. For the angry. For the skeptical. For the ones who scream at heaven and don’t hear anything back. He came for you.

Maybe You’ve Been Told Lies About Him

Maybe you’ve been told Jesus is just a symbol, or a story. Maybe you've only seen Him through the lens of religion-as-control, or in the hypocrisy of people who didn’t live what they preached. Maybe you’ve been told He’s a crutch. Or outdated. Or weak. But that’s not Him. The real Jesus isn’t a myth or a rulebook or a distant deity. The real Jesus is the God: Who became human. Who cried real tears. Who bled. Who stood in your place, with your sins on His shoulders, and whispered: “I love you. I forgive you. I would do it all again.”

If You’ve Been Hurt - He Weeps with You

If you’ve been betrayed by Christians… I’m sorry. Truly. If you’ve seen scandal, or abuse, or manipulation disguised as faith… That was not Jesus. He never shamed. He never abused. He never turned anyone away who came to Him with a wounded heart. In fact, the people who hurt Him most were the ones who claimed to be the holiest. If you’ve been wounded by religion - He weeps with you. And He wants to heal you.

If You’re Tired of Running - Come Home

You don’t have to believe everything right now. You don’t have to feel a lightning bolt of faith or certainty. But if you feel even the smallest tug…

“Could He be real?” “Could He love someone like me?” “Could I come back?” The answer is yes. Yes, He’s real. Yes, He loves you. Yes, you can come back. Right now. Just as you are.

You Are Not Too Far Gone

Not too broken. Not too late. Not too sinful. Not too skeptical. The Cross was big enough to carry everything you’ve ever done, everything you regret, and everything that’s ever been done to you. And the arms of Jesus? They’re still open. “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” - Matthew 11:28

Whisper a prayer, even if it’s just “Jesus, if You’re real… show me.”
