might sound big or complicated…

but the idea is actually VERY simple.

❤️ Sacraments are special ways God comes close to us and fills us with His love and grace.

🌊 God Uses Simple Things

Here’s something AMAZING:

God uses ordinary things to do extraordinary things inside our hearts.

Things like:

• water 💧

• oil 🛢️

• bread 🍞

• wine 🍷

💧 Water in Baptism

Think about water for a second.

Water:

• cleans us 🫧

• refreshes us 💦

• gives life 🌱

In:

💧 Baptism

God uses water to welcome someone into His family.

🍞 Bread in the Eucharist

Think about bread.

Bread feeds our bodies.

In:

🍞 The Eucharist

Jesus uses bread to feed:

❤️ Our souls.

God loves using simple things to show His love in powerful ways.

✝️ The Seven Sacraments

The Catholic Church has:

🌟 Seven Sacraments

They are:

1️⃣ Baptism 💧
2️⃣ Confirmation 🔥
3️⃣ Eucharist 🍞
4️⃣ Reconciliation (Confession) ❤️
5️⃣ Anointing of the Sick 🙏
6️⃣ Marriage 💍
7️⃣ Holy Orders ✝️

And don’t worry…

You’ll learn them little by little.

🌈 Why Are Sacraments Important?

Each sacrament is connected to important moments in life.

Some:

• welcome us into God’s family ❤️

• heal us when we struggle 🤝

• help people serve others ✨

• and help build the Church ⛪

It’s kind of like God saying:

❤️ “I want to be with you during every important part of your life.”

✨ Jesus Is Really Working Through Them

Here’s the COOLEST part:

The sacraments are NOT just symbols or pretend moments.

Catholics believe:

❤️ Jesus is truly working through them.

That means:

• when someone is baptized 💧

• confirmed 🔥

• forgiven ❤️

• or receives the Eucharist 🍞

✨ Jesus is really there helping and loving them.

🔋 Grace Strengthens Our Souls

Imagine if every time your phone battery got low…

That’s kind of what:

✨ Grace does for our souls.

The sacraments help:

• strengthen us 💪

• guide us 🧭

• heal us ❤️

• kneel 🙏

• make the Sign of the Cross ✝️

But all those little things remind us:

At Mass, pay attention to the signs and symbols you see.

2️⃣ Think About God

Think about one moment when you felt really close to God.

3️⃣ Thank God

Thank God for loving you enough to stay close to you through the sacraments.

They help us:

• feel His love ❤️
