🤝 Serving Others With Love 🤝

Welcome Back!

Today we’re talking about something REALLY important in the Catholic life:

❤️ Serving Others

Being Catholic is not only about receiving God’s love.

It’s also about sharing that love with other people.

✨ Jesus Showed Us How

Jesus helped people every day.

He:

• helped the poor 💕

• healed the sick 🩹

• comforted sad people 🌈

• welcomed people who felt left out 🤗

Jesus did not live only for Himself.

He served others with love.

And He invites US to do the same.

⚽ Everyone Has a Role

Think about a sports team.

On a basketball or soccer team:

• some people score 🏀

• some defend ⚽

• some encourage teammates 🙌

• some help the whole team work together

The Church works the same way!

Every person has gifts and talents that can help others.

🌟 God Gave You Special Gifts

Some people are:

• great teachers 📚

• good listeners 👂

• amazing singers 🎵

• welcoming and friendly 😊

• helpful organizers 📋

And ALL those gifts matter.

God gave YOU special talents for a reason.

Maybe you:

• help classmates who feel lonely ❤️

• encourage sad friends 🌈

• help at home 🏡

• make people laugh and feel included 😄

Those are gifts too!

And when we use our gifts to help others, we grow closer to Jesus.

💕 Small Acts Matter

Serving others does NOT always mean doing giant heroic things.

Sometimes serving means:

• helping clean up 🧹

• smiling at someone 😊

• helping younger kids 👧

• praying for others 🙏

• volunteering at church ⛪

• listening to someone who feels upset 💛

Small acts of love can make a HUGE difference.

🌱 Serving Changes Us Too

Serving doesn’t only help other people.

It changes US too.

When we serve, we become:

• more patient

• more caring

• less selfish

• more loving ❤️

Serving helps us grow into the person God created us to be.

⛪ There’s a Place for Everyone

Churches have MANY ways people can help.

Some people:

• sing in the choir 🎶

• greet people at Mass 👋

• teach kids 📚

• help the poor 🍞

• organize food drives 🥫

And yes…

🍩 Even helping serve donuts after Mass counts!

There’s a place for EVERYONE.

💪 You CAN Make a Difference

Sometimes people think:

• “Someone else will help.”

• “I’m too young to make a difference.”

But that’s NOT true.

Every act of kindness matters to God.

And even young people can help change the world through love and service.

⭐ Your Challenge This Week

Try these 3 things:

1️⃣ Discover Your Gifts

Ask yourself:

“What gifts has God given me?”

2️⃣ Serve Every Day

Do one act of kindness or service every day.

3️⃣ Pray This Prayer

🙏

“Jesus, help me serve others the way You did.”

❤️ Always Remember This

God created you with special gifts.

The world NEEDS those gifts.

And when you use them to help others, you bring God’s love into the world.
