Today we’re talking about something called:

🌟 Catholic Morality

That simply means:

❤️ Learning how to live the way God wants us to live.

📜 God’s Rules Are Meant to Help Us

Sometimes people hear words like:

• rules

• commandments

• or morality

and think:

😄 “Ugh… this sounds boring.”

But God’s commandments are NOT meant to ruin our fun.

They are meant to:

• protect us 🛡️

• guide us 🧭

• and help us become the BEST version of ourselves ✨
  
  

⚽ Rules Help Things Work Well

Think about:

• sports ⚽

• games 🎮

• roads 🚗

• or school 🏫

All of those have rules.

Why?

Because rules help:

• keep people safe

• and help life work better

God’s commandments work the SAME way.

They guide us toward:

❤️ Love, goodness, and freedom.


✝️ The Ten Commandments Teach Us

The Ten Commandments teach us important things like:

• Love God ❤️

• Respect His name ✨

• Honor your parents 👨‍👩‍👧

• Don’t lie 🤥

• Don’t steal 🚫

• Don’t hurt others 💔

• Tell the truth 👍

• Be grateful instead of jealous 🙌

These commandments help build:

• strong families

• friendships

• and communities ❤️

❤️ God Wants Us to Choose Goodness

Here’s something REALLY important:

God does NOT want us to follow rules because we are scared.

He wants us to choose what is good because:

❤️ We love Him and love other people.

🌈 The Beatitudes

Jesus also taught something called:
✨ The Beatitudes

These are special teachings about what REALLY matters in life.

The world often says:

• “Be rich.”

• “Be famous.”

• “Be powerful.”

But Jesus teaches something VERY different.

He says:

• Blessed are the merciful ❤️

• Blessed are the peacemakers 🕊️

• Blessed are the humble 😊

• Blessed are those who help others 🤝
  
  

🦸 Be the Kind of Hero Jesus Wants

Think about superheroes.

The BEST heroes:

• protect people 🛡️

• help others ❤️

• and stand up for what is right 💪

That’s the kind of person:

✨ Jesus calls us to become.

😊 Nobody Is Perfect

Let’s be honest:

Nobody follows God perfectly all the time.

Everyone:

• makes mistakes

• struggles

• and has bad days

Even saints did!

What matters most is:
❤️ Continuing to try.

And every day gives us new chances to choose:

• kindness over selfishness ❤️

• truth over lies 👍

• forgiveness over anger 🤝

• and love over hate ✨

Choose ONE commandment or Beatitude to focus on this week.

2️⃣ Be Kind

Do one act of kindness every day.

3️⃣ Reflect Before Bed

Ask yourself:

“Did I become a little more loving today?”

God’s rules are NOT meant to trap you.

They are meant to guide you toward:

• joy 😊

• peace 🕊️

• love ❤️

• and becoming the person God created you to be ✨
