Father Ed Blesses Feed My Poor’s Second Food Truck

Feed My Poor is growing - and Father Ed Benioff marked the moment with prayer. In this video, Father Ed blesses the ministry’s new second food truck and asks God to bless the workers who will serve through it. He gives thanks for the people who have helped make this expansion possible, including actor and businessman Mark Wahlberg, the Pulte Family Charitable Foundation, Corporate Travel, and the donors who have supported Feed My Poor over the past six years.

The blessing centers on Jesus’ call to serve people in need: “Whenever you give to the least of your brothers and sisters, you give to me.” For Father Ed, feeding the poor is more than delivering a meal. That mission has grown from its beginnings during the COVID-19 pandemic, when Feed My Poor started with volunteers making sandwiches. It developed into a mobile meal outreach serving people across Los Angeles. Now a second food truck gives the team another vehicle for carrying that work forward.
