1.) Air Filter Replacement/Cleaning According to the U.S. Department of Energy, clogged filters can lead to anywhere from a 5 to 10% drop in efficiency. Clean the Fan When a fan malfunctions, loose or dirty blades are typically the cause. Let Delta HVAC clean, open the cabinet and locate the fan, check the motor shaft for looseness.
