SmartGuy® now in Edmonton

Welcome to the Edmonton Business Network of SmartGuy®, the largest exclusive business network in the world! It’s easy to fall in love with the Edmonton area. Edmonton is the capital city of Alberta, Canada and sits on the North Saskatchewan River and was incorporated as a town in 1892 and then as a city in 1904. A year later the Canadian Northern Railway (CNR) arrived in Edmonton accelerating growth in the area. The Edmonton City Centre Airport opened in 1929 becoming Canada's first licensed airfield. Gold mining activity in the Edmonton area peaked between 1895 and 1897 where Edmonton's local exhibition called Klondike Days got it's name in the 1960's. It is estimated that over 300 miners arrived to work the sand bars along the 100 km stretch of the river upstream and downstream of Edmonton. Edmonton also dubbed itself the "City of Champions" when the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Team and the Edmonton Eskimo Canadian Football Team were winning cups in consecutive years in the 1980's. The city's contemporary landmarks include the Royal Alberta Museum, with aboriginal-culture and natural-history galleries, and the futuristic-looking Art Gallery of Alberta, known for its First Nations art. Attraction centres in Edmonton include the West Edmonton Mall, Fort Edmonton Park, Whyte Avenue and the High Level Bridge Street Car just to name a few. Business Professionals. . .
