How to Choose the Right MLM Company

Are you trying to find out how to choose the right MLM company for you? Have you searched online and seen positive as well as negative reviews about all the different MLM companies? Each direct sales or MLM companies offers different benefits, options, marketing approaches, materials and levels of leadership. It is important that you choose the right MLM company for you.  Here are a few tips to help you along the way.

Are you willing to do what it takes to build your business?
Do you have the support of your significant other? Do you really believe in the MLM business model that word of mouth is still the most effective way to build any business? It may come by way of facebook or is belly to belly still the number 1 method of marketing? Have you thoroughly checked out the company because you will be giving them (next to your health) your most valuable possession “time”? Do you believe in your product or service? You need to ask yourself if you would you use it, or whether or not there was any money opportunity attached to it. This may be the #1 thing you need to be most honest about.

Humility
Like no other business, MLM takes humility. Be prepared for lots and lots of rejection. Taking it personal is just not where it’s at. Bless the rejectors and move-on. It will take a minimum of a 2 year commitment before you will be earning $5,000 plus. Some make it sooner but the majority it takes 5 years or longer.  So can you take it easy and have fun with it and enjoy the ride?

Determination
Kentucky Colonel Sanders approached and cooked his famous chicken for over 1,000 potential franchisees before he got “one” yes and the rest is history. Can you go through those kinds of numbers?  Everyone wants a $5,000 a month residual income check. Yet not everyone is willing to do what it takes to get one. Can you be ok with this? Everyone wants to be at the top of the “so-called” pyramid of the next Herbalife, Amway, etc…“the get in at the top myth”. You need to come to terms with this in dealing with others. They will have their biases. You will hear “Oh, this is a pyramid only the people who get in early make money.” It’s a fact that many top reps in many companies have come in 5 and 10 years after the start up. This is a myth that you need to be in at the beginning. Understand  “virtually” every business is MLM “multi-level marketing” or networking to some degree or another. From folks talking about a good or bad movie, or good or bad place to eat, or good or bad place to get your car - serviced or buying car insurance. Every insurance company is a “multi-level  compensation” for example.

Think you know the answer to other people's problems or that they should use your product or service because it will just be so good for them. This just is not true. They need to determine this on their own. Be sure of your product or service and short of being a pest, bring it up a few times then turn it over to God.

Finally, if you want to work night and day that is good for you It does not mean it is good for others. Be clear, as to what you believe it takes, in terms of time, effort and money,  to have the success someone you are working with wants. Check in with them from time to time and they need to be checking in with you, otherwise move on. By no means, get stuck in the past by way of conversation or self-pity. Just don’t because it is a recipe for defeat. And don’t do for others what they are supposed to do for themselves. Every time this will back fire on you, it is just a matter of time.
