A1’s trucking division may be the newest part of our business, but we’ve built it using the same philosophy as our messenger service: be flexible enough to meet our client’s specific needs. We have 26 ft box trucks (equipped with blankets, e straps, electric pallet jacks & lift gates) and cargo vans on call for immediate delivery. Our trucks are also equipped with ELDs (Electronic Logging Devices) and we are authorized to deliver nationwide by the Department of Transportation. We can also provide TEAM DRIVERS, to get to your destination as quickly and efficiently as possible. And we are always willing to get creative—like the time we delivered a 1,500 lb. fish display case that took two trucks to unload! It’s our willingness to find a satisfying and timely solution to customer requests that has helped us built great relationships with our clientele since 1971.

In 1971, our founder, Ethel Smith, started A1 as a messenger company that primarily worked with lawyers in the tri-state area. Realizing that her clients also needed legal papers served, she made that an integral part of our business.
