St. Martin’s-in-the-Field Day School has been teaching minds and touching hearts since 1957.
St. Martin’s-the-Field Day School is an established and well-respected Episcopal school offering quality Preschool, Elementary School and Middle School education. Founded in 1957 as a mission of St. Martin’s-in-the-Field Church, we have earned a reputation for academic excellence and for providing a nurturing environment that promotes the growth of the whole child.

Our Mission
St. Martin’s-in-the-Field Day School serves the community by educating children in a learning environment marked by worship, diversity, mutual respect, and service. Our coeducational Episcopal school is committed to developing the potential of each individual to live a creative, humane, and compassionate life worthy of a child of God. We prepare young people to live in a rapidly changing world by giving them a passion for learning and discovery and the wisdom of a living Christian tradition. We offer our students the knowledge and skills needed in an age of information, and the confidence and compassion that spring from a community of worship and mutual respect.
Our Vision
St. Martin’s vision is to create a passion for learning and discovery in a supportive, spiritual atmosphere, consistent with the Episcopal tradition. All students are encouraged to dream, explore, and experiment, as they grow into the children God has created them to be. Our faculty and staff are committed to helping each student develop the self-confidence, self-discipline, and self-respect necessary for strong character development and academic success. St. Martin’s strives to empower its students to be responsible members of the community.
