The Raptor Series was spawned by a chance encounter with a South American White Hawk named Ivory, at a my sons Cub Scout meeting. The World Bird Sanctuary had brought various raptors in as a learning experience for the boys; little did I know what an impact it would have on me. My attraction to this magnificent bird was powerful and instantaneous. I immediately began conjuring up ideas of how to photographically capture this raptor, and was determined to complete this project.
