Looking for Miami, FL Wall Paintings? Maria Susana Cabrero Sue is a self-taught artist of animals. She was born in Mexico City and from her early age she has been drawing horses.She has never owned a horse or taken an art class; all she knows about them has been gleaned from her own research, determination and love for this species. Vicissitudes of life took her to live in the U.S.A. since 1999, starting in California. There, she obtained a few commissions from horse owners and succeeded in capturing each horse's own spirit and personality in her portraits. Later, while living in Palms Springs, she applied for a full scholarship which was granted to her by Karen Kasper, founder of The Kasper Foundation for Equine Art, taking her to Taos, New Mexico, in 2002. There, she was exposed to sculpture, which she enjoyed greatly, showing an immense innate ability due to her previous research, love for art, and that which experience had taught her.
