We specialize in outdoor and location photography, providing a variety of services to commercial clients, such as professional portraits, products, operations, architecture, and services. We also photograph nature, landscape and wildlife photography throughout Alaska and the western United States, with an emphasis on national parks, providing these images to companies in the form of fine art prints or stock photography.
Carl was trained as a photojournalist in the United States Navy and began to explore nature and landscape photography after working as a canoe guide in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in Minnesota. Carl has been named the Artist-in-Residence for Gates of the Arctic National Park & Preserve in Alaska and Badlands National Park in South Dakota. He has been published in Alaska, South Dakota, Nature Photographer, Rural Cooperatives, Vermont Sports, and Silent Sports magazine. Clients include Robbins Research International, PGS Onshore, Inc., ENI Petroleum Corp., The WILD Foundation, and the National Park Service.
