AlterMed Acupuncture is a Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic. Dr. Li Wang, a licensed acupuncturist under the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice, originally came from China. She has been using acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine to treat her family members for a long time. After she realized that people here in the U.S. lack of alternative medicine health care methods, she decided to pursue the acupuncture license in the U.S.. Her passion is to help people benefit from an effective medical practice that has maintained the health of one quarter of the world’s population through out China’s history either as primary care or as complementary care.

The clinic is conveniently and centrally located in Twin Cities area. The facility has been designed for your comfort with large treatment rooms and a waiting room in which you can research Chinese or western medicine or just unwind from your day.
