Hearty walnuts smothered with golden honey and wrapped in the most delicate of pastry - A Greek Dessert Delight! Each batch of Yiayia Maria's baklava is made by hand. We meticulously hand place30 layers of fillo dough from bottom to top as we spread the nut mixture between layers of filo through out the process. Finally we hand score each piece to allow our honey mixture to soak through all the layers. The final step is to place a clove in each piece of baklava which is our family signature.
