Choosing A Dumpster Service For Your Home Or Business

Residential dumpster service is usually contracted through your local government.  The same cannot be said for business service.  In most municipalities, businesses are responsible for their own waste removal.  Choosing which service to hire will have an impact on your bottom line, so it is wise to do some research first.  Contact other businesses in your area to see which company they use.  You might find it less expensive to hire the company your neighbors use, as they are already in the area on a regular basis anyway.

Businesses are not the only ones who need a dumpster service.  Homeowners who are engaged in large home improvement projects also could use a dumpster for discarding the trash that is generated.  In this case, dumpster rental is the way to go.  You rent the dumpster from the company who delivers it to your location.

Once it is full, or at the end of the project, you call to have the dumpster picked up.  The cost of the service depends on the size of the dumpster.  Dumpster sizes are determined by their capacity in cubic yards.

Typical dumpster sizes start at 10 cubic yards and go up in 5 yard increments to 40 cubic yards.  For small clean out projects, a 10 yard dumpster will do.  The actual dimensions will be 12 ft. long by 8 ft. wide by 4 ft. high.  For larger projects like flooring or carpet removal, choose a 20 yard dumpster.  The dimensions for a 20 yard dumpster are 22ft. by 8 ft. by 4
